Why the search exists
"Sites like 456movies" and "456movies alternative" are searched whenever a copy on another suffix goes dark and the people who bookmarked it go looking for the next. The shortest answer is that you are on the site the copies were copying: the search that understands romaji, abbreviations and Korean titles, anime by the cour, K-dramas by the week, every season of every series, My List, and Watch now for your country.
What to compare
When people compare movie sites on Reddit they are weighing four things: how deep the catalogue goes and whether it takes anime and K-dramas seriously, how fast search finds a title by any of its names, whether series are organised by season and episode, and whether the site works on a phone. On the first, the catalogue here holds the Hollywood series people follow for twenty seasons beside the anime of the current season and the Korean dramas of the moment. On the second, search is instant and forgiving. On the third, every series has a page per season with the episodes dated, and anime follows the cours. On the fourth, the app is a two-tap install.
The lists elsewhere
The alternatives lists that rank on search engines recycle the same dozen names, most of them copies of one another or already moved. If you are reading one because a 456Movies copy went down, bookmark the official address instead of the next copy, and install the site to your home screen so the address is never a question again.
A better alternative than another clone
If you want a second place for a particular reason, an anime-specialist service or the subscription you already pay for is the right place for a series you will rewatch, and the Watch now button lists exactly those services for every title here, with the price where there is one. That is a more useful alternative than another streaming clone, because it is where the episode plays in HD with subtitles, dubs and downloads in the service's own app.
