Listed the way fans count it
An anime series on 456Movies has a page per season, and the seasons follow the cours the way the fans and the studios count them, not the way a Western database flattens them. A twelve-episode cour is a season; a split-cour show has two; a long shonen run has its arcs. Every episode is listed with the date it aired in Japan, and the Reached this episode button on every row keeps your place through a hundred-episode run. The anime series shelf holds them all, from Jujutsu Kaisen and Frieren to Solo Leveling, Spy x Family and The Apothecary Diaries.
Search by any name
Type the romaji title, the English one or the abbreviation: JJK, AOT, MHA, Frieren, Mushoku Tensei, Kimetsu. The search understands all of them, and a Japanese title in its own script works too. Add the season and episode, "jjk s2e5", and the season page opens with the row you wanted. A character's name is not a title, but the cast list on every page is searchable, so a voice actor's name lists their series.
The films
The anime films shelf holds the features: Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc, the studio classics and the new releases. A film that is part of a series' story is on the film's own page with the year, so it sits in the right place in your watch order; the You may also like row under it points back to the series.
Subbed or dubbed
Every anime page states the original language, Japanese, and the service you open with Watch now carries the subtitle track and, for most current series, the English dub, usually a few weeks behind the sub. Press Watch now, open the service, and the audio menu lists the tracks. Where a later season shows subtitles only, the dub is a season behind and follows. The subtitles and dubs page covers the details.
The season's simulcasts
New episodes air in Japan on a weekly schedule, and the new episodes page lists them the day they air, so a series you follow appears there every week with its date. The services carry the simulcast within hours in most countries. Mark the episode you reached, open the page the following week, and the new one is at the top. The ongoing shelf gathers every series still airing.
Where anime streams
Choose your country once on any title page and the Watch now list shows the services carrying each anime there: the anime-specialist services, the general subscriptions that carry the big titles, and the free ad-supported tiers that carry more anime than people expect. The list differs by country, which is why the country menu sits above the button.
