The address will not load
Try it from a different connection first: switch the phone from Wi-Fi to data, or the other way. If it loads on one and not the other, the network you were on is filtering it, which school, office and hotel networks do for every streaming site; your phone's data or a VPN you already trust is the way round. If it loads on neither, wait a few minutes and try once more; a brief outage at the host is the only case where the site is genuinely down, and it passes. Most "is 456movies down" searches come from people using a copy on another suffix, and copies go down for good; the address page has the one to keep.
The page loads but looks wrong
If the navy background is missing, the posters are blank or the menu runs down the left in a column, the stylesheet did not arrive. One reload usually fixes it. If it does not, your browser is holding an old copy from an earlier visit, which happens after the site updates: clear the site's data in the browser settings and load it again, or on a phone close the tab and reopen the site from its icon.
Search returns nothing
Search needs JavaScript, so a browser with scripts disabled or a content blocker set to strict will show "Loading results" and stop there. Allow scripts for this site and search comes back. If search works but returns no titles, the query is the problem: remove a filter, try the romaji title or the English one, check the season number against the way the cours are counted, or switch Type to All. The search guide walks through it.
Watch now shows nothing for my country
Watch now opens the title on the services that carry it in the country you chose. An anime that is on three services in the United States can be on one in the United Kingdom and none in a third country that week, and a K-drama can reach one country a month before another. Change the country from the menu above the button and the list changes with it. If no service carries it where you are yet, mark it in My List and check back; titles move between services every week.
Video will not play
Playback happens inside the service you opened from Watch now, so a frozen or stuttering video is a question for that service's player. The fixes that work almost every time: close other tabs and apps, drop the quality one step if the player offers it, reload the player page, and on a television restart the app. On a slow connection, HD needs roughly five megabits a second; below that, the player buffers. The quality page has the numbers.
My List disappeared
The list, the country and the episode marks are kept by the browser you used, and only there. A private window does not keep them, a different browser does not see them, and clearing the site's data removes them. Before you clear anything or change device, open My List and press Export; the file it writes restores everything with Import on the other side.
